Family Vacation During COVID-19 Times: Part 2
As I mentioned in my last post, my husband and I live about a 9 hour drive from our families, so we make every effort to see them twice a year. In 2020, instead of going forward with our planned beach vacation, we ended up having both families visit us, three weeks apart. This week's post is of my husbands family visit.
We purchased a fun splash pad for the kids in the backyard, did some fun crafts, had some dance parties in the shade, hunted for bugs in the rain, and went swimming in Cheat Lake. Although it wasn't the summer vacation any of us were expecting, we all had a blast, and it was so good to spend quality time with our family.
